In Conversation with Sabre

Speaking with Andy Finkelstein, Senior Vice President of Global Agency Sales & Corporate Solutions at Sabre, we analyze the current state of the travel industry and COVID-19’s impact thus far.

As travel content adapts to fit the change and evolution of the situation — Sabre shares their insight on the global trends unfolding in the industry, what areas continue to be a key focus going forward, and how their organization is stepping up internally to navigate through this pandemic.

According to our State of the Market 2020 Report we are seeing the following trends in regards to the return to business travel in NZ:
  • APAC are leading the way in air seat capacity in August 2020 compared to prior year with NZ at 67% seat capacity. Global air seat capacity is sitting around 50% compared to prior year.
  • NZ Industries leading the way are Health, Construction and Financial Services.
  • Our NZ customers top priorities in returning back to business travel are risk management, travel policies and budget.
