Flight Centre Appoints Corporate CTO For The Americas

Flight Centre Travel Group has appointed Edward Silver as Chief Technology Officer Corporate Brands Americas to drive the continued design, development and implementation of technology solutions for its business travel and MICE brands, FCM Travel Solutions, Corporate Traveler, cievents and Stage & Screen Travel Services in the Americas.

Edward Silver’s extensive career in travel technology, product innovation and marketing spans almost 25 years in diverse senior roles. These include six years as SVP of Operations at Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) and nine years as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Lodging.com where he spearheaded growth of the business from a directory of hotels to a leading booking platform for over 30,000 properties worldwide. Silver also has significant expertise in strategic technology and product consultancy for wide-ranging companies in the leisure and business travel sectors including Travelport, Gulliver’s Travels and Leading Hotels of the World.
