FCM Travel Solutions has been named the World’s Leading Travel Management Company at the World Travel Awards for the ninth consecutive year.
Charlene Leiss, President of FCTG Americas Corporate Brands, and Vicki Parris, Senior Director of Customer Experience for FCM Asia have each played a pivotol role in the growth and success of FCTG’s business, while remaining focused on driving change as thought leaders. As Top Women in Travel honourees, both women were lauded for their efforts in reinventing, leaning in and creating momentum within and beyond the travel community and their field of expertise.
Organised in partnership with ACTE, the programme featured 3 presentations from distinguished speakers, inspiring case studies and panels of thought leaders and industry experts, ranging from medical professionals, marketing and HR specialists, distribution and revenue analysts and corporate travel executives. New Appointments for Strategic Head of Marketing and Digital Marketing Director
With this deal, FLT improves its technology capabilities, specifically in the small-and-mid size corporate market. FLT plans to leverage Upside’s technology platform to continue the digital enablement of its Corporate Traveler business, pairing the proficiency of its people with cutting edge artificial intelligence and machine learning models.
The company’s businesses in Singapore, China, Malaysia and India together recorded 39% growth in total transaction value (TTV) for the six months to December 31, 2018 to $AU885million. Underlying profit before tax (PBT) for the region almost quadrupled to $AU4million, as all businesses made solid contributions to the company’s results.
FCM parent company, Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG), announces two new investments in its “Labs” initiative that will help bolster its capabilities to incubate and bring to market emerging travel technologies to its corporate brands.
Scott Alboni has been appointed as Global Marketing Manager for FCM Travel Solutions. He joins from Corporate Travel Management where he was Marketing Director EMEA for the last three years.
