Review: Fraser Suites Dubai

A business trip to Dubai can be distracting at best, and for some business traveller's who are looking for an escape from the city lights, a hotel apartment is exactly what they need. Luckily for them, Fraser Suites Dubai is the perfect choice, whether it be for a short stay or a more permanent accommodation option. FCM's marketing manager, Michelle Smith, took some time to review the property to make sure our most valued customers were getting the very best from their stay in Dubai.

What was your room like?

The first thing I noticed walking into my room was the light! The room was truly elegant, with stunning interiors, it was the perfect place to get out my laptop and get some work done in my own oasis of peace and quiet. I was staying in a one bedroom apartment, and they seemed to think of everything I would possibly need - the attention to detail was impressive.

What was the bathroom like?

I have always said you can judge a hotel by its bathroom - the ensuite at Fraser Suites Dubai had a lovely walk in shower and bath tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of work.

Was there a conference room or any other room that would be suitable for a corporate getaway?

The hotel has a 24/7 business centre as well as various meeting rooms that can hold up to 200.  I always get caught out needing last minute printing for presentations so it was nice to have peace of mind that the 24/7 business centre had my back! The hotel is a great option for MICE events with a stunning poolside dining area perfect for a gala event.

What other facilities were there?

Like I mentioned, the pool area is really beautiful and looks over to the iconic Burj Al Arab. There is also a tennis and squash court, gymnasium and a yoga room which I loved. It's always great to be able to stay healthy while travelling for business.

Did you enjoy the food?

The great thing about a hotel apartment is that you have facilities to cook - if you're like me and like to keep a healthy diet then this is a perfect option. If you're looking for a morning cup of Joe then head down to the Serai Lounge in the lobby - it has a delicious selection of pastries and great coffee. Aqua Cafe also had a wide range of options from healthy to local dishes to choose from - the outdoor seating was perfect to enjoy Dubai's beautiful sunshine.

Are there any eating or entertainment venues nearby that corporate travellers may want to visit?

One of my favourite things about Fraser Suites Dubai is its location in the heart of the city - it is just a few minutes drive to Mall of the Emirates, home to the iconic Ski Dubai complex, and the Dubai Marina is just a ten minute drive where world class restaurants and nightlife venues are at your finger tips.

Who would you recommend this property for?

Fraser Suites Dubai is a luxurious option for a long stay in Dubai - the facilities were excellent, and its location is great to see the best of the city as well as being central to meet business guests. The spacious rooms would suit even the most demanding business traveller, making the hotel your home away from home!

What is your overall rating out of 5 and any final comments?

I would rate Fraser Suites Dubai 4 out of 5 - it catered to all of my requirements as a business traveller and no ask seemed too great for their hospitable staff.
