Steve joined Flight Centre as a leisure travel consultant. Following experience in supply management and marketing, he became General Manager Flight Centre UK. In 2011, he was promoted to Corporate MD EMEA, responsible for Flight Centre’s business travel divisions. Under his eight-year stewardship, FCM achieved major growth, winning and retaining significant customers. In 2020, he became Managing Director of Flight Centre EMEA, and is also now Managing Director, Europe for FCM.

Martina Groenegres is currently the Managing Director of Flight Centre Travel Group Germany, a role she assumed in 2025. Prior to this, she was the Managing Director at Lufthansa City Center International and held senior leadership positions at the Lufthansa Group, including Senior Director Sales Services and Director Passenger Sales.
Her international expertise is strengthened by roles in China, where she was General Manager for Lufthansa in Beijing and Shanghai. Martina has been actively involved in industry organizations, serving on boards such as the German and Swiss Chambers of Commerce in China. Her career began with an internship at Henkel Chemicals, followed by diverse assignments in Europe and the US.
Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, she holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Trier and studied at Beijing College of Economics. She is married with two grown children.
Her international expertise is strengthened by roles in China, where she was General Manager for Lufthansa in Beijing and Shanghai. With over 25 years of experience in the corporate travel industry, Sabine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the travel industry to her role as Head of Account Management.
Sabine began her career at DER Business Travel with an apprenticeship as a travel agent and further training as a tourism specialist. Since then, she has remained true to the business travel industry. This was followed by various positions with different focuses at DER Business Travel/FCM Travel Solutions and BCD Travel. Since January 2022, Sabine has been back at FCM Travel and, as Head of Account Management, is responsible for the Account Management team in Germany.
Sabine and her team work in partnership with their clients. Her goal is to achieve cost savings while increasing traveller satisfaction. With her team, she supports clients in the implementation and realisation of specific business travel programmes on a national and international level.

Marie Piquerez is an experienced Head of Operations based in Berlin, known for her dedication to customer service and multilingual proficiency. With a Diploma in Tourism Operations Management from TAFE Carrick Higher Education in Melbourne, Australia, Marie has cultivated a robust career in the travel industry.
Since 2011, she has been expertly managing corporate travel arrangements at American Express GBT, Berlin Germany and Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Belfort France, utilising the Amadeus GDS system to book and modify travel plans while providing exceptional client support in French, English, Spanish, and German.
Her previous roles include positions at Visit Berlin and Berlin City Tour, as well as experience as a language teaching assistant in Colombia and a customer service officer in Melbourne. Marie is a highly motivated leader, skilled at multitasking, and thrives as a manager, team player and in roles requiring personal initiative.

Lucian Preis is Sales Director for Germany at FCM Travel with more than eight years of international experience in the corporate travel industry.
He began his career in the United States, working in San Francisco and New York, before joining FCM Travel in Berlin in 2019. Since then, he has been instrumental in strengthening FCM’s footprint in the German market. In 2023, he took on responsibility for the German Sales division, where he drives strategic growth and develops high-value partnerships.
Lucian combines deep market knowledge with a strong focus on transparency and customer value. He works with a broad range of organisations, from established mid-sized firms to multinational corporations, developing sales strategies that align with complex business travel requirements. Under his leadership, the German sales team has expanded its reach and reinforced FCM’s position as a trusted partner for international clients.

Alex brings almost 20 years of experience in the travel, tourism and sales industries to the role.

Jo has been in corporate travel all through her career, and has gained extensive knowledge and experience across a number of sectors within it. Working in a TMC environment for over fifteen years is where her knowledge and influence was developed as an innovator in developing preferred supplier managed programmes. Jo then moved to numerous interim consulting roles from ACTE as Regional Director for EMEA where she focused on industry education to setting up the Global Corporate Sales department for Qatar Airways in Doha before founding Nina & Pinta Consulting Services. Nina & Pinta was a consulting firm specializing in the travel space with 2 distinct divisions. Jo’s consulting projects at Nina & Pinta ranged from working with corporations in procurement on corporate travel programmes focusing on programme efficiency and optimization to developing training workshops that include sales effectiveness, negotiations training and working with procurement. Jo has also written numerous white papers in conjunction with the UK Business Travel Association on TMC pricing and RFP processes. Jo joined FCM Travel in October 2021, and from January 2022 Nina and Pinta will also integrate into the FCM business.

Michelle’s passion for the travel industry was evident from early in her professional career culminating in her joining FCM’s parent company, Flight Centre Travel Group in South Africa in 2009. Her vast industry knowledge and expertise in marketing led her to a number of positions in both leisure and corporate marketing before relocating to Philadelphia, PA in 2019 to head up the FCM Americas’ marketing division. As FCM’s SVP of Global Marketing, Michelle is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy for FCM Travel, aimed at supporting the full customer journey from awareness through to loyalty.

She led FCTG’s corporate brands in the USA as President for four years, achieving double-digit, often record-setting growth year over year. Charlene has been recognised by the industry on numerous occasions for her outstanding performance, including GBTA’s WINiT Top 40 Women in Travel in 2019.
