Client-Facing Technology Consultant 

Location: Zaventem
 

About the role As a Client-Facing Technology Consultant, you are the cornerstone of our Technology & Process department in Belgium & Luxembourg. You serve as the go-to expert for our online booking tools and supporting systems, ensuring that both clients and colleagues can seamlessly engage with our technology—from setup and implementation to training and support. With your expertise, you elevate the user experience and help deliver a smooth and efficient service.

What makes this role great

In this position, you act as the bridge between clients, colleagues, and technology, directly contributing to FCM’s success. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the key link between our commercial team, clients, and technology partners.
  • Advising and training clients on our advanced technology solutions to ensure our products meet their expectations.
  • Managing the implementation of self-service solutions for new and existing clients, including configuration, testing, and training.
  • Taking ownership of technical issues, following up thoroughly and managing cases from start to finish.
  • Proactively contributing to process improvements based on client feedback and new developments.

Who we are looking for

  • You have experience and expertise in online booking tools, preferably Cytric or Concur.
  • You’re passionate about technology and travel, curious to learn how different systems work together.
  • You’re an enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
  • You’re proactive, structured, and a strong problem-solver.
  • You thrive in an international environment and speak fluent English, Dutch, and French.
  • You perform well under pressure, staying calm and focused.
  • Experience in business travel or technical support is a plus.
  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent through experience) and have a professional, eager-to-learn attitude.
  • You start your day with energy and a smile, aiming to make each day a success.
  • Punctuality, organization, and a good sense of humor make you the ideal colleague.
