What are some of FCM's key booking features?
First things that come to mind, speed. You'll notice the tool's a lot faster than traditional OBTs. Second, you'll see a wide breadth of content. You'll see a lot of flight options, a lot of hotel options, all configurable. Third, they'll go through and see our, what we call our policy compass. it's a way for the travel managers to put in hard and fast travel policy limits, but allow some flexibility for the actual travelers to see that their preferences are being held.
The theory is that we're trying to move preferred capabilities and preferred partners within the program further up the search rankings. So as opposed to it being buried 10, 12 results down, they're seeing what's more relevant for them up front, but that's a bit more tailored to what the company policy.

What makes FCM's booking capabilities different from other OBTs?
The reason why I'd say it's different; it's that enterprise was not our first focus. Our consumer side of the business was where we started the product and grew it up, so you're going to see an experience and tool that feels a lot more like an OTA website. It feels more like a supplier dot com site as opposed to like a very thick, policy-laden kind of corporate experience and tool around it.
I think also a lot of our competitors went "very software" in their solution stack. They're worrying about features, how the different products work, how they integrate with different tools. We do that, but we don't lose sight of our people in the process. So the fact that a human within FCM is always available at one click away; we're not shielding the person. We're not trying to prevent you from talking to one of our consultants. We're realizing that there are some experiences that are best done yourself, and there are some experiences best done with a person, and we're navigating that for you. But it's a very different approach to how those services are felt by the individual traveler.

What’s different about how users can access the tool?
So, how users access the tool is gonna start to evolve, and it's just happening as the industry's evolving, as the macro technology world's evolving. We obviously have the point-and-click interface that people can log into, whether it's the website or the mobile app, where they can go through a self-service flow; they're putting in parameters and searching. That's certainly one very popular, and I think will always be, a very popular channel.
That said, we're starting to see a convergence in conversational interfaces, because of the popularity of things like ChatGPT, Claude, et cetera. So, we have Sam booking capabilities built into the tool as well. You'll start to be able to go through and make bookings through the FCM Booking platform, but the interface that you experience it will be through our Sam chat interface.
But we're also realizing that not every customer lives and breathes their entire day in our products, so we're also extending the integration to tools like Microsoft Teams, and in the future, Slack. You could be in your collaboration tool within your [employers'] environment and be able to go through and interact with our online booking flows, live through those tools as well.
So that's kind of like the initial phases that we've talked through. There's some additional work that we're doing in other areas around MCP, which is the protocol that AI technology tools use to go back and forth, that we can embed the tool in a Microsoft Copilot or a Claude Enterprise. We're doing that first on the reporting side, but booking will eventually come there as well.
