FCM Consulting appoints Rachel Newns to lead enhanced hotel practice


29 November, 2023FCM Consulting has named Rachel Newns as its Global Hotel Practice Lead as part of a strategic expansion of the business’s capabilities across key industry verticals. 

Fresh off the stage at this year’s GBTA Europe, where Newns led an education session on Navigating the Evolving Needs of Business Travel Accommodation, her role will be focusing on how FCM Consulting can support our customers in the strategic management of their hotel programs and the global strategic direction of the Hotel Practice. 

By utilising over 15 years of experience, Newns will drive innovation and standardisation throughout the practice, whilst continuing to work closely with FCM clients. 

Throughout her career, Newns has worked her way through the Flight Centre Travel Group ranks from Travel Consultant to FCM’s Head of Hotel Program Management for EMEA. Newns highlights her greatest achievement as the spearheading of the development of FCM UK’s revitalised hotel program. It is with this determination for success that Newns will be using to ensure her vision for FCM’s accommodation program can be applied globally. 

This appointment is effective immediately and forms part of the globalisation of FCM Consulting, headed up by Jo Lloyd
