Travel policy & traveller wellbeing forum sparks industry discussion

FCM has kicked off 2020 with a new education initiative: the FCM Savvy Series. The first event held in Melbourne on 26th February focused on Travel Policy and Traveller Wellbeing, with a packed room of close to 40 customers.

The conversation was led by Felicity Burke, general manager, FCM Consulting and covered a wide range of topics that sparked interest from the floor including sustainability in travel, traveller health and wellness as well as safety and risk. Time was spent discussing strategies implemented by those in the room to limit risking exposure to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), with some companies cancelling trips, banning international travel altogether, implementing risk level approval processes and a couple of organisations sharing they had put a self-imposed quarantine periods for returning travellers.

"The best ‘Travel’ session I’ve been to in the last 4 years – Globally!! It was so relevant and awesome to be able to hear from other industry procurement leaders on the issues they are facing and/or have faced with Travel Policies and implementation to resolve these issues. The... presentation was on point! Felicity is a great public speaker and presented well. Provided real ‘meat’ for discussion."
