FCM Collaborates with NUS Business School Executive Education to Deliver an Innovative ‘Asia High Potential Programme’

FCM has secured an innovative collaboration with the NUS Business School Executive Education to deliver the ‘Asia High Potential Programme’ – a scheme designed to provide a customised leadership development programme for people with high potential in the FCM division.

More than 20 FCM candidates with high potential have been selected for the course, which spans over 18 months. They are from the Asia region including China, Singapore, and India, with the largest cohort from Singapore.

He is the Associate Professor of Marketing; Academic Director, The NUS Executive MBA; Director, Stanford-NUS International Management Programme; and Director, NUS Marketing Strategy In A Digital World Programme at the NUS Business School.

“Brightness of future and providing our people with the best possible chance to grow hand-in-hand with us, while opening doors to future leadership possibilities, is something that has been ingrained in our business from day one,” said Bertrand Saillet, Managing Director Asia, FCM.

“We have always been a proudly people-led business, and this is an incredible opportunity to foster local raw talent while showing our commitment to the region by building bigger and better business relationships across Singapore.

“The programme will provide formal face-to-face training once a quarter with FCM supporting participants through the internal application of training in real-life and business situations, 360-degree feedback from managers, peers, and direct reports, as well as mentorship from leaders within our business.

“The main aim is to develop leaders from within our business – with a focus on local talent. People want a career in travel again and we look forward to working closely with all our candidates as we aim to develop our future business leaders for FCM in Asia.”

“FCM is constantly investing in people, and The NUS Business School is the ideal choice for FCM’s executive development initiative to groom their high potential executives in Asia. The NUS Business School Executive Education’s leadership development programme is one of the many well-established initiatives we must nurture our talent,”

“I’m thankful to be working in an organization that’s truly committed to the growth of individuals like me,” said Jing Wen Wong, Senior Manager of Strategy for FCM Asia, and one of the programme’s participants.

“As the programme director, I am very impressed with the quality and diversity of the participants as well as their collaborative spirit to learn and share their knowledge and experiences,” he added Dr Prem N Shamdasani.
