Enerpac Tool Group Case Study
Global travel and expense consolidation
Enerpac Tool Group
Founded in 1910 providing water pumps for the Ford Model ‘T’, Enerpac Tool Group now operates in 30+ countries, delivering technically superior solutions for projects including the world-famous Millau Viaduct and Las Vegas Wheel.
Enerpac Tool Group sought a travel management partner to help them execute significant changes to their travel and expense systems.
By consolidating the ETG travel program from multiple local or regional agencies into one unified global travel program, Enerpac Tool Group would have greater visibility of travel spend and activity.
Rising to the challenge
By understanding Enerpac Tool Group’s unique challenges, FCM was able to deliver a travel program that integrated key procurement and travel experience.
FCM’s reporting & analytics platform provided highly detailed information around program performance, enabling future business travel decisions to be better informed. Clear visibility of travel enabled procurement to approach vendor contracting and risk management in a far more strategic manner that helped to drive travel savings and promote traveler safety.
Improving data visibility meant that global traveler profiles could be easily identified, together with spend patterns, thereby streamlining processes. Program also enabled Enerpac Tool Group to better assess the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the various business units.
In 2019, the Enerpac Tool Group global travel program produced a 9:1 Return on Investment and a total savings exceeding 22% of global spend.
“In these difficult times, I’m grateful for the hard work that Chris [our account manager] and the teams are doing in the background, keeping me informed, managing my unused tickets, and providing reports when requested. I look at this as a long-term relationship that needs to continue to grow and we are working through this difficult time together. As travel begins to resume, I am confident that FCM will have our back and guide us through.”
