Latest United Polaris Lounge opens at New York/Newark, with Houston opening later this month.

Customers traveling in United Polaris business and first class will be able to relax and dine before their travels in the new United Polaris lounge at New York/Newark (EWR). At over 27,000 square feet, the lounge boasts 15 different types of seating for up to 455 travelers, and comes equipped with 570 power outlets, 450 USB ports, 10 private daybeds and 10 luxurious shower suites. The opening of the United Polaris lounge at EWR closely follows the debut of the United Polaris lounge at San Francisco (SFO) in April. The United Polaris lounge in Houston (IAH) will open this summer, followed by the lounge at Los Angeles (LAX) this fall.

United® Premium Plus seats on select flights

As United get ready to introduce United® Premium Plus, you will begin to see the new seat on select international flights. Some of their Boeing 777-200 with retrofitted United® Premium Plus seats will enter service in late June and continue to roll out through the rest of the year.

The seats will be located behind the United Polaris cabin and in front of Economy Plus. The seats will be sold and serviced as Economy Plus until further notice. On board, you can distinguish them by their larger size, added legroom and purple headrests.

Once available for purchase, this product will offer upgraded dining options and complimentary beverages. United will release more information and updates later in the year.

Enjoy non-stop service between LHR and LAX

United Airlines fly daily between Los Angeles (LAX) and London Heathrow (LHR), connecting these two popular International destinations with convenient nonstop service. The flight is operated on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with a total of 252 seats, including 48 flat-bed seats in United Polaris business class.

Customers experience greater comfort with improved lighting, bigger windows and larger overhead bins.They also offer nonstop service between LHR and all seven hubs with up to 17 daily flights.
