FCM Travel Solutions, the global corporate flagship brand of Flight Centre Travel Group, today announced they have been awarded the global travel contract for Orica Limited.
General Manager for FCM Australia, James Kavanagh, said the appointment was as a result of a true organization-wide approach, leveraging international expertise from colleagues around the world as well as a key team from Australia to secure the business across more than 50 countries.
"We are very excited to bring on board this flagship customer – an organization who previously traded with FCM for ten years, before consolidating their global travel program with another travel management company only three years ago,” Mr Kavanagh said.
“Our global reach and technology platform was also crucial. It is a fantastic win for the business and a testament to the hard work of all the team members involved in the process."
The account will place Orica as one of FCM's largest customers world-wide.
"The win is reflective of the significant investment and inroads we have made in our mobile and online technology offering, information security and technology products, our local market boutique service, multinational "big data" reporting and analytics as well as our duty of care products."
Orica joins a stable of ASX 100 organizations as FCM Travel Solutions’ clients whose global head offices are based in Australia including Newcrest Mining, ANZ Bank, and Bluescope Steel.
News of the Orica travel contract follows FCM’s announcement of being awarded North America’s Leading Travel Management Company For the Seventh Consecutive Year as well as Australasia’s for the sixth year in a row at the World Travel Awards.
