Travel from Australia to New Zealand

Limited flights are operating from Australia to New Zealand and you’ll need to have a Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) booking to secure your seat. Contact your airline or travel manager for flight availability. Head to the travel advice for New Zealand for COVID-19 entry requirements. Latest COVID-19 update for New Zealand

  • Auckland and parts of the Waikato region are at Alert Level 3. The remainder of New Zealand remains at Alert Level 2.
  • From 1 November, if you aren’t a New Zealand citizen, you’ll need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the country. You'll need to enter managed isolation quarantine (MIQ) on entry to New Zealand.
  • From 14 November, if you’re fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the quarantine period will reduce from 14 days to 7 days, followed by isolation at home until the result of a day 9 test has been received.
