FCM Meetings & Events team goes from strength to strength as growth fuels success
As the FCM Meetings & Events team gears up for success with its upcoming global expansion, so do their industry experts Simone Seiler and Katie Fraser.
Simone Seiler, a seasoned travel industry executive with over two decades of experience, has taken on the role of Global General Manager to bring all the global Meetings & Events businesses into one.
Meanwhile, the Australian FCM Meetings & Events team sees further growth with Katie Fraser moving into the role of General Manager of Operations, bringing in over 16 years of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) experience at Flight Centre Travel Group, across many countries and roles.
“Seeing the business grow and evolve these past few years, I'm excited to step into the role to focus on some of the things I’m most passionate about and believe are key to our success. This includes making FCM Meetings & Events a great place to be, investing in our people to ensure they can be the best versions of themselves, aligning our service delivery across events, creative services, and group travel, all of which means we can deliver the best event experiences for our customers,” Katie said.
She added that in terms of the global expansion, she believes the time is right.
“We have a solid foundation globally to build on, an exciting strategy for investment in growth, and the right team onboard to lead the way.”
The global expansion and growth of the team follows trends that events, event travel and meetings are leading the business travel bounce back globally.* Simone believes the meetings, events, and event travel markets are ripe for disruption worldwide.
