Singapore Airlines Releases NDC Content in Australia

From 1 July 2020, Singapore Airlines will release NDC content in Australia through an expansion to its KrisConnect Program.

Singapore Airlines aims to first release NDC content in Singapore in April and will release NDC globally to the market throughout 2020.

What is NDC?

NDC (New Distribution Capability) is becoming more widely known in the market as a new industry data standard that enables airlines to provide dynamic personalised offers and distribution of products to the market faster and with greater flexibility.

FCM is actively at the forefront of shaping this industry change and are committed to offering the widest range of content seamlessly for all customers across all booking channels. We are collaborating with Singapore Airlines as joint participants of Sabre's Beyond NDC Program & the Amadeus NDC X-Program to ensure our customers maximise the benefits of NDC.

What is KrisConnect?

KrisConnect is Singapore Airlines NDC enabled program that offers access to a wider range of fares, personalised content, customised products such as corporate bundles and ancillaries to support customer needs.

The KrisConnect Program enables travel agency partners such as FCM to access this content to provide customers with the widest choice of fares.

What does this mean for you?

By being a partner with Singapore Airlines, Flight Centre Travel Group’s corporate and leisure customers and consultants globally will have access to a full range of Singapore Airline fares, product information and new content.

This new channel will be an important component of FCM’s MarketPlace, which gives you unlimited access to our virtual world of specially-negotiated aggregated and exclusive travel content from across the FCM global network.
