FCM brings more choice, value and flexibility to Kiwi businesses with NDC launch
25 June 2026 - Corporate travel brand, FCM New Zealand is leading the charge in modern business travel, offering New Distribution Capability (NDC) content to Kiwi businesses through its online booking tool.
Backed by investment in technology, the move brings a new level of choice, value and visibility to New Zealand business travellers.
NDC is an industry-standard technology developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to modernise how airline products are sold. It allows airlines to move beyond traditional booking systems and deliver richer, more personalised content directly to travel managers and agents - including bundled fares, seat options, and tailored baggage inclusions.
For Kiwi businesses, that means access to exclusive fares, more flexible options, and better alignment with travel policies, all in one place.
More than 70 per cent of Flight Centre Travel Group New Zealand’s corporate customers are already accessing NDC content through the brands’ self-service online booking tools, with the same offers also available to all customers via their dedicated travel consultants. Qantas is the first airline partner to offer NDC content through the online booking tools, with Singapore Airlines also set to make NDC content available via the brands’ online booking tools soon.
Kelly Thomas, GM of FCM New Zealand says the focus is simple, making business travel easier, smarter, and more valuable.
“This is about giving our customers more choice, more value, and a smoother journey from search to service. We’re making sure New Zealand businesses can access the best fares and serviceability in market, all in one place.”
While servicing and fulfilment capabilities continue to evolve globally, the New Zealand rollout marks an important step forward, giving Kiwi businesses better access to airline content, improved fare visibility, and increasingly personalised travel options over time.
