Comments by Renos Rologas, FCM Travel General Manager, ANZ

"FY26 has been a genuinely strong year for FCM in the Australia and New Zealand region, with growth in income and profit accelerating across the business, supported by strong customer retention, record new business performance and continued investment in our people, products and services.

"While we're proud of the growth we've achieved, what stands out most is the trust our customers continue to place in us. That is reflected in our 97 per cent customer retention rate and the long-term partnerships we've continued to strengthen throughout the year.

"Our focus remained simple: our people and our customers. That commitment delivered strong outcomes, including improved Great Place to Work results, high employee retention, record new-customer conversion, and consistently strong customer satisfaction.

"Technology and automation have been defining themes of the year. Guided by our philosophy to 'automate the ordinary and deliver the extraordinary', we've introduced new tools and capabilities including enhanced AI chat functionality, improvements to quoting and service processes, the expansion of our AI platform SAM, ongoing NDC deployment and self-service solutions that make travel management easier for customers and our team alike.

"These investments, combined with the strength of our people, have reinforced FCM's position as a trusted partner for organisations navigating an increasingly complex travel environment.

"The team also achieved several significant milestones throughout FY26. FCM was recognised as a finalist in the National Travel Industry Awards. At the same time, the ANZ region continued to lead in several key business metrics globally across the Flight Centre Travel Group.

"Looking ahead, our focus remains on three key themes; we'll continue investing in our people, technology and customer experience, while maintaining the service excellence and customer retention that have been central to our success.

"I'm incredibly proud of what our people have achieved. Their dedication to delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers continues to set FCM apart and positions us strongly for the year ahead.

“I’d also like to express our deep gratitude to our customers who trust us, support us, and work alongside us to allow us to do what we do best.”

Comments by Simone Seiler, FCM Meetings & Events Global General Manager

"FY26 has been a standout year for FCM Meetings & Events, with significant profit growth, strong new business performance and continued momentum across our meetings, events and group travel operations."

"This year we achieved record levels of turnover, profit and sales, with the performance led by Australia and India. We’ve also identified opportunities for further growth in the UK, Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia, which we expect will flow through over the new financial year.

"That growth has come from both new customer wins and deeper relationships with existing customers, with several of our largest accounts expanding their engagement across meetings, events and travel — which reflects the value of a more connected approach.

"We're also seeing Meetings & Events play an increasingly important role in Flight Centre Travel Group's corporate ecosystem. As organisations look to consolidate their travel, meetings and events programs, we're becoming the strategic partner that brings those experiences together under one roof.

"Technology has been a major focus this year. We developed and deployed an integrated AI platform to support our event operations and group travel teams in Australia, improving efficiency, consistency and service delivery, and its success has seen it adopted more broadly across our global network.

“We've invested in capability and reach too – the acquisition of Fresh strengthened our offering, while investment in markets such as Malaysia is supporting customer growth and expanding our regional presence.

"Looking ahead, we'll keep investing in our people, technology and creative capabilities. AI and automation will play a bigger role behind the scenes, but our focus remains on helping our teams deliver exceptional experiences and strategic outcomes — bringing the magic to our logic so customers get more value from their meetings and events programs.

"Most importantly, our success comes back to our people. Their expertise, commitment and ability to create meaningful experiences every day has positioned FCM Meetings & Events for another exciting year ahead. And we're deeply grateful to the customers who continue to put their trust in us, and who allow us to turn their experiences into outcomes."
